Reporting quality indicator data
Who must report
Each residential aged care home must submit their QI data through the Government Provider Management System (GPMS).
When to report
You must submit your QI data by 11.59pm on the 21st day of the month following the close of the reporting quarter.
The reporting due dates are:
- 21 October
- 21 January
- 21 April
- 21 July.
Who does not have to report
You do not have to submit QI Program data for the following service types:
- Flexible care including transition care
- Home Care Packages Program
- Commonwealth Home Support Programme
- Short-Term Restorative Care Programme
- Multi-Purpose Services Program
- National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program
- Innovative Care Programme.

My Aged Care service provider and assessor helpline
This helpline provides technical support to government-funded aged care service providers, assessors and hospital staff using our reporting systems and portals. Call from 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Friday or 10 am to 2 pm Saturday.
