Public consultation is now open on 3 new staffing quality indicators for the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program. See how you can have your say or participate in a pilot to test the new indicators.

About the staffing quality indicators

The 3 new staffing quality indicators will focus on:

  • enrolled nursing
  • allied health
  • lifestyle services.

Once finalised, they will increase residential aged care quality indicators from 11 to 14.

Who we work with

We’re developing the 3 new staffing quality indicators with:

  • HealthConsult
  • University of Queensland’s Centre for Health Services Research
  • the Registry of Senior Australians.

Consultation on the new indicators is now open until 5 March 2024. To have your say:
