Other location definitions

Point of entry locations

Locations which were eligible when you joined the Program remain eligible for you, even if they are reclassified as ineligible under the Program at a future time.

Quarantined locations

Locations where you have previously completed RoSO as a Program participant (but not under legacy schemes) remain eligible for you, even if they are reclassified as ineligible under the Program at a future time.

Reclassified location

If a location was ineligible under the Program but is reclassified as eligible, it will become an eligible location for you from the date of the reclassification.

If a location was eligible under the Program but is reclassified as ineligible, but you commence work in that location within 6 months of the reclassification, it will remain eligible for you.

Tenure

As a participant, you are not eligible for tenure under the Program. If you opted into the Program from legacy schemes, you will not keep your tenure as previously awarded.

RoSO scaling under the Program

A scaling discount may reduce your RoSO by up to 6 months should you meet the criteria.

For scaling to be applied you must complete 104 weeks (2 years) of Program RoSO on a full-time basis, in locations classified as MM 4–7. This service may be non-continuous and via multiple RoSO events.

When 104 weeks (2 years) of Program RoSO is complete, any further RoSO completed on a full-time basis in locations classified as MM 4–7 will accrue a scaling discount equal to the time served. That is, 1 week worked = 2 weeks credited.

If you have opted into the Program from a legacy scheme, any RoSO credited as prior service cannot be used to contribute to the scaling benefit.
