Aged Care Data and Digital Strategy for technology vendors

We are giving technology developers and vendors certainty, through clear and consistent data standards and conformance to our system specifications. This will enable aged care providers to use systems that are compatible with government systems.

Benefits of the strategy for technology vendors

Our work under the Aged Care Data and Digital Strategy will support technology developers and vendors by:

  • providing clear system standards and specification to ensure provider systems integrate securely with government systems
  • supporting testing and software conformance assessment to bring systems to market
  • promoting digital investment, innovation and adoption.

Example journey

Transform Inc.

In the strategy, we created a fictional example that shows Jenny’s aged care journey as it overlaps with those working in the sector.

The example journey shows how technology vendor Transform Inc. – and the technology it develops – is involved in each step of the example journey.

Read Jenny’s full journey and how she interacted with others in the strategy.
