Provider requirements
To become a registered provider, you must:
- register with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
- get set up to make claims for aged care subsidies and supplements
- access the Government Provider Management System (GPMS) for reporting and data collection
- log into the My Aged Care Service and Support Portal to manage information on services, participants and residents, and referrals.

My Aged Care for providers
Aged care service providers must use the My Aged Care Service and Support Portal to:
- manage information on services
- manage referrals
- update records
- generate reports
- ask an assessor to review a person’s support plan.
