Finding eligible MRBS Scheme locations using the Health Workforce Locator

Find out how to use our workforce locator map to check if working in a certain location can reduce your return of service obligation under the MRBS Scheme.

Using the Health Workforce Locator app

By entering your classification details as illustrated below, and the exact address, the app will indicate location eligibility.

Please note boundary lines may cut through some locations. Enter the complete address of the location to get an accurate result.

If you start work in a location that becomes ineligible due to reclassification, you may continue to work there and reduce your RoSO. You will receive the new scaling discount if applicable to you.

Some locations deemed eligible under the Rural, Remote and Metropolitan Area (RRMA) contract may not be eligible under the scaling Deed of Variation and vice versa.
