6 June 2025 - All My Aged Care contact centre staff and aged care needs assessors (assessors) use the Integrated Assessment Tool (IAT). This means the way we screen and assess older people for government-funded aged care services is consistent across Australia.

17 June 2025 - This List of Excluded Medicinal Items (LEMI) contains medicines which have been excluded from the legal requirements of active ingredient prescribing. Clinical software systems will default to brand name only for items on the LEMI.

25 July 2025 - The Comprehensive Health Assessment Program (CHAP) is an evidence-based tool for conducting annual health assessments for people with intellectual disability in Australia. This version is for adults, people aged 18 years and older.

2 March 2026 - Older people can seek access to Support at Home through an aged care assessment. If approved, they will be allocated funding when government funding becomes available. They then choose a provider to deliver their Support at Home services.

31 July 2023 - The MBS Continuous Review ensures the MBS continues to support high-quality care, remains flexible, and stays up to date. We do this through a process of ongoing expert reviews.

8 January 2026 - We are making changes to provide better and faster access to pathology and diagnostic imaging reports in My Health Record. These changes will ensure consumers and their healthcare providers have better access to key health information when and where they need it.

8 February 2024 - Once your quality assurance activity has a declaration under this scheme, you must ensure it complies with the confidentiality requirements. Organisations also have a responsibility to regularly share de-identified information from the activity with the public.
