31 July 2023 - The Hearing Services Program has more than 300 providers in nearly 3,000 locations across Australia. Not all hearing providers are registered with the program. Our directory can help you find your nearest program provider.

17 September 2026 - The EAC and subcommittee members have expertise in a wide range of areas including allied health practice, nursing, clinical research, education, medicine, law, social work and business. It includes people with disability and other lived experience of disability, including carers.

2 November 2023 - Our response to the Australian Public Service Commission’s capability review of our work is now available. It outlines the actions we are taking to further improve how we manage and deliver Australia’s world-class health and aged care systems.

4 March 2026 - All governments wrote this document to outline our current plan to support the disability community through the disability reforms. It outlines current activities planned for 2024 and 2025 and will be updated regularly.

13 April 2026 - Registered providers of residential aged care, Support at Home and multi-purpose services are required to complete an annual Aged Care Financial Report (ACFR). Providers must report on mandatory requirements to receive Australian Government operational approval and funding.

3 October 2023 - Accelerated Research has been consolidated into the Emerging Priorities and Consumer-Driven Research initiative under the MRFF 10-year Investment Plan. This initiative supported researchers working to develop new treatments and cures for debilitating conditions, in areas of identified unmet need.

12 May 2026 - This was a webinar for people working in aged care and design. Attendees learned about designing ‘households’ and spaces that feel homely and support privacy, control, and belonging.
