Description:

The techniques and equipment we use in population screening for breast cancer need to be up to date. To ensure that we are aware of new and emerging technologies an environmental scan of current literature was performed. The technologies and innovations identified are noted in the literature review.

We also interviewed stakeholders to discuss these technologies so that their expertise could identify any possible issues with implementing these in the future.
