Funding for Home Care Packages

The Australian Government pays subsidies to approved home care providers. It pays the subsidies on behalf of each person eligible to receive a Home Care Package. If a person can afford to, they may be asked to pay fees by their provider.

Government subsidies cover most of the cost of Home Care Packages. People who get government-subsidised home care may be asked to help with the cost, if they can afford to. They do this by paying home care fees to you, the approved provider.

Government subsidies and other funding are also available for other care types. Find out about funding for aged care service providers.
