Using the Government Provider Management System

Learn about how your aged care organisation can access and use the Government Provider Management System (GPMS).

Accessing GPMS

GPMS is used by all aged care registered providers including Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program (NATSIFACP) providers. 

Registered providers can access reporting applications and update business information. 

There are two GPMS portals: 

  1. Registered provider portal complete mandatory reporting and manage organisation details under the Aged Care Act 2024.

  2. Approved provider portal to provide information and functionality relating to entities that existed under the Aged Care Act 1997

Reporting applications on GPMS

Residential aged care providers can:

Support at Home providers can:  

  • submit provider operations reporting
  • submit Quarterly Financial Report (QFR) information
  • access finance and operations previews.

Manage Your Organisation tile

The Manage Your Organisation tile in the registered provider portal lets providers makes it easier to interact with us.

Registered providers can view information about their organisation’s:

  • regulatory category
  • service information, which aligns to Support at Home, Places to People and enables payments
  • associated provider information, from reported third-party organisations’ personnel and user roles nominated in GPMS.

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is responsible for registration activities for registered providers.
