Accessing GPMS
The Government Provider Management System is available to all providers of residential aged care and home care services. From 3 November 2025, this includes Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program (NATSIFACP) providers.
Registered users can access reporting applications and update core business information.
There are two GPMS portals:
The Registered Provider Portal is used to complete mandatory reporting and manage organisation details under the Aged Care Act 2024.

The Approved Provider Portal continues to provide information and functionality relating to entities that existed under the Aged Care Act 1997.

Reporting applications on GPMS
Residential aged care providers can:
- submit 24/7 Registered Nurse (RN) reporting
- submit Care Minutes targets
- submit quarterly Quality Indicator (QI) information
- submit Provider Operations reporting
- submit Quarterly Financial Report (QFR) information
- access Star Ratings previews
- access Finance & Operations previews.
Support at Home providers can:
- submit Provider Operations reporting
- submit Quarterly Financial Report (QFR) information
- access Finance & Operations previews.
From 3 November 2025, there will be two reporting applications on GPMS:
- You will use the GPMS Registered Provider Portal to report information to government about your Registered Provider entity under the Aged Care Act 2024
- You will use the GPMS Approved Provider Portal to report information to government about your Approved Provider entity as it existed under the Aged Care Act 1997.

Manage Your Organisation tile
The Manage Your Organisation tile within the Registered Provider Portal lets providers to interact more efficiently with us.
In the Manage Your Organisation tile in GPMS, Registered Providers can view their registered provider information which has been transformed from their approved provider organisation. This includes information about the organisation’s:
- regulatory category that applies under the new regulatory model of the Aged Care Act 2024
- service information, which aligns to Support at Home, Places to People and enables payments
- associated provider information, applied from reported third-party organisations’ personnel and user roles nominated in GPMS.
From 1 November 2025, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is responsible for registration activities for government-funded providers under the new Aged Care Act. As a result, the Manage Your Organisation functionality changes on 3 November.
