Accessing GPMS
The Government Provider Management System is currently available to approved providers of residential aged care and home care packages.
Registered users can access reporting applications and update core business information.
On 3 November 2025, GPMS will be available to all registered providers of aged care services. This includes Commonwealth Home Support Program and National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program providers. You can learn more in our guide to digital changes for providers.
Reporting applications on GPMS
Residential aged care providers can:
- submit 24/7 registered Nurses reporting
- submit Care Minutes targets
- submit quarterly Quality Indicators (QI) information
- submit Provider Operations reporting
- submit Quarterly Financial Report (QFR) information
- access Star Ratings previews
- access Finance & Operations: Publication Preview.
Home care package providers can:
- submit Provider Operations reporting
- submit Quarterly Financial Report (QFR) information
- access Finance & Operations: Publication Preview.
On 3 November 2025, reporting applications on GPMS will change. You will use the GPMS Registered Provider Portal to report information to government. You can learn more in our guide to digital changes for providers.
Manage Your Organisation tile
The Manage Your Organisation tile lets providers to interact more efficiently with us.
Under the current Act, currently in the Manage Your Organisation tile in GPMS, Approved Providers can:
- update provider organisation information, including contact details, services and user roles/ user access
- submit material changes and key personnel changes.
From 1 November 2025, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission will be responsible for registration activities for government-funded providers under the new Aged Care Act. As a result, the Manage Your Organisation functionality will change on 3 November.
