8 December 2025 - We are undertaking activities to evaluate and monitor how well the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) is meeting its goals.

1 August 2025 - The Health Services Data Advisory Group (HS DAG) advises us on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health data. It also contributes to the development and continuous improvement of the Health Data Portal, which collects key data.

4 September 2025 - The GPMS Conceptual Data Model describes the key entities and their relationships underpinning the changes under the new Aged Care Act.

25 November 2025 - The Stage 2 DEX Toolkit steps out the IT and system changes and requirements needed for implementation of My Aged Care ID reporting from 1 January 2026.

16 February 2026 - The AT-HM scheme data collection allows transitioned Home Care Package (HCP) care recipients with low or no unspent funds to access AT-HM funding without a Support Plan Review. The data collection closed on 13 February 2026.

4 August 2025 - A collection of materials created for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander vaccine providers to download and print to use in their health clinics and practices. These materials include posters, social media resources, handouts and web banners.

18 December 2025 - PHNs manage their region in line with the needs of their community, based on consultation and guidance from community advisory committees and clinical councils, as well as Australian Government health priorities. The program guidelines and performance framework provide structure for the program.

29 January 2026 - The Distribution Priority Area (DPA) classification identifies locations in Australia with a shortage of general practitioner (GP) services. International Medical Graduates (IMGs) must work in a DPA to be eligible to access Medicare.

23 March 2026 - The CHSP has been extended from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027.
