CHSP services: caring for older people in heatwaves

CHSP providers should assess risks, update care plans, and support older people before, during, and after heatwaves. Key actions include checking cooling, hydration, nutrition, monitoring health, and reviewing emergency plans.

Support at Home aims to help older people stay at home for longer. It delivers person-centred services to support older people with complex ageing related needs. It will replace the CHSP no earlier than 1 July 2027.
