29 January 2025 - The Life Saving Drugs Program (LSDP) Expert Panel considers all applications to list new medicines on the LSDP. The panel assesses medicines and advises the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) about listing medicines. It also reviews medicines already on the program.

12 January 2025 - This initiative reduces outstanding Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) debt for eligible doctors and nurse practitioners who live and work in rural, remote or very remote areas of Australia.

9 April 2025 - Residents in permanent care may have to make an accommodation payment or contribution. You must work out the correct amount of payment or contribution to charge based on the agreed room price, Services Australia advice, and the payment method your resident chooses.

31 October 2023 - The Bilateral Regional Health Forum supports the health needs of people in rural, regional and remote New South Wales. The forum discusses rural health issues and ensures a collaborative approach to regional health outcomes.

20 February 2025 - The PEPA program is part of the Palliative Care Education and Training Collaborative and helps health professionals to deliver palliative care by providing training in clinical placements in specialist palliative care services and interactive workshops.

8 August 2024 - The ART Storage Funding Program helps with the cost of cryostorage for people who have cancer or are at risk of passing on a genetic condition. Find out if you and the cryostorage services you need are eligible for this program.

8 April 2025 - Telehealth allows you to consult a healthcare provider by phone or a video call. Telehealth was expanded in March 2020 to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare providers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of these services have now been retained permanently.
