2 June 2023 - The National Suicide Prevention Trial took place in 12 Australian regions from 2016-17 to 2020-21. We funded Primary Health Networks (PHNs) in those regions to develop and implement a systems-based approach to suicide prevention at a local level for at-risk populations.

10 April 2026 - Every resident pays a basic daily fee to contribute to the costs of their daily living. Different rates apply depending on which fee arrangements they are on.

4 June 2025 - On 9 December 2024, the Single Assessment System workforce replaced the previous aged care assessment workforces. This provides a single assessment pathway for older people to enter aged care and access different services as their needs change.
