15 January 2024 - There are many different pathways you can take to become a volunteer. Learn more about opportunities in your local area, with each aged care provider or in a specific volunteering program.

12 November 2024 - This program has closed to new applicants. The program provided support and training towards joining a college fellowship for doctors who are temporary or permanent residents of Australia and non vocationally recognised.

27 February 2024 - The Government Provider Management System (GPMS) will make it easier for providers to access and report information to government. In the future it will be a master source of information across the aged care system.

26 March 2025 - A resident’s fees will depend on the outcome of their means assessment and their negotiations with their aged care provider. See examples to better understand how Services Australia calculates fees and how the means assessment works for people entering residential care from 1 July 2014.
