27 February 2026 - The CHSP provides entry-level aged care services to help older people continue living independently and safely at home and in their community. CHSP providers help with services including personal care, transport, and preparing meals.

7 July 2026 - Eating disorders affect many Australians and can be life threatening. Recovery can be hard, but it is possible with the right care. We are working with state and territory governments and the eating disorders sector to improve access to affordable and evidence-based eating disorder support and care.

22 September 2026 - The National Sign Language Program (NSLP) provides free sign language interpreting and captioning services for Deaf, Deafblind and hard of hearing older people. Aged care providers can use the NSLP to meet the communication needs of eligible older people.

21 October 2025 - People with disability and their families, carers and support workers can contact the Disability Gateway for information and support services. You can also be referred to other support services if needed, including the Disability Advocacy Support Helpline (DASH) and other advocacy services.

30 June 2026 - These resources will help approved aged care service providers to use the My Aged Care Service and Support Portal. They include fact sheets, guidelines, quick reference guides and videos.

31 October 2025 - CHSP service providers collect client contributions from people receiving their care. Find out about these contributions and how to collect and report them.
