Home Care Packages Program continue until 31 October
Following deferral of the new Aged Care Act, the Home Care Packages Program will continue as normal until 31 October 2025. This will ensure older people accessing home care services continue to receive safe, quality care and have the time to understand the Support at Home changes.
Support at Home program manual now available
Providers who will be delivering Support at Home from 1 November 2025 can now access an early version of the Support at Home program manual.

This manual helps approved providers of Home Care Packages to understand their responsibilities. It provides information about fees and charges, care planning, package inclusions and exclusions, package budgets, reporting and responding to special needs.
