National coverage rates
We have again exceeded the target of 95% coverage for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander five year olds.
As at December 2024, the coverage rates were:
- 89.90% for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander one year olds
- 87.74% for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander two year olds
- 94.95% for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander five year olds.

States and territories have not yet achieved coverage rates above the aspirational target of 95% for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander one year old immunisation coverage.

States and territories have not yet achieved coverage rates above the aspirational target of 95% for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander two year old immunisation coverage.
Coverage rates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander 5 year olds
Four of the state and territories (New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria) have exceeded the 95% target rate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander five year old vaccination.
