Medicare-eligible MRI and PET locations in Australia

Not all magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines are Medicare-eligible. From 1 July 2025, all MRI machines at these locations can provide all MRI services listed on the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS). From 1 July 2027, all MRI machines will be able to provide the MRI services listed on the MBS.
