Committees and groups
We support the Australian National Advisory Council on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ANACAD), which:
- focuses on reducing alcohol and drug-related harm
- advises the Australian Government on issues related to alcohol and other drugs.
We also support the National Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Advisory Group, which:
- focuses on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
- advises government on emerging issues, trends, opportunities and gaps associated with the FASD Strategic Action Plan 2018–2028.
Other work
We encourage responsible alcohol advertising and sponsorship by alcohol companies. To do this, we work with industry, public health organisations, peak bodies and other stakeholders.
