Australians are already experiencing the impacts of climate change on their health and wellbeing. To address these current and future challenges, the Australian Government has committed to making the issue a national health priority.
Australia’s first National Health and Climate Strategy sets out a plan to:
- decarbonise the Australian health system
- build health system and community resilience to the impacts of climate change on health and wellbeing.
