Current workforce

We will continue working with existing RAS, ACAT and independent AN-ACC assessor organisations until the introduction of the Single Assessment System workforce. 

We are running a limited tender for organisations to deliver RAS in Victoria until the introduction of the Single Assessment System workforce. This will ensure older people in Victoria continue to have access to RAS assessment services.

Eligible organisations have been contacted directly with information on how to apply for the limited tender. The Victorian Government will also continue to have a role in delivering RAS during this time. 

Next steps 

The Request for Tender for the Single Assessment System workforce closed 21 March 2024 and we are in the process of reviewing tender submissions. 

We will continue to work with state and territory governments to negotiate jurisdictions’ ongoing role in the Single Assessment System.
