Care and Support Sector Nursing Clinical Placements

This program provides Bachelor and Master Nursing students with high-quality clinical placements in the care and support sector.

About the program

Bachelor and Master of nursing students must complete a minimum of 800 hours of clinical placement throughout their course.

This program supports Bachelor and Master of Nursing students with high-quality clinical placements in the care and support sector, including:

  • aged care
  • veterans’ care
  • disability support.

Students in the program will be supported by a program specialist clinical facilitator. All nursing students will be able to access an online hub, providing free resources to help students on placement.

Why is this program important?

The Nursing Clinical Placements program will create a new opportunity for registered nurses to enter the care and support sector in the early stages of their career. 

Program timeframe

The program will be delivered from March 2023 to June 2024.
