Financial viability and capability support for aged care providers

We support aged care providers to improve their financial viability and capability. Find out about our funding programs and services to help you meet the demands of a strengthened aged care market.

How we target support

We continue to deliver targeted support to providers facing viability concerns.

We encourage you to enquire about programs if you believe you meet eligibility criteria.

We also work with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and our state and territory offices to identify approved providers that are experiencing financial difficulties and may benefit from support.

Market Adjustment Program (MAP)

The MAP provides funding to residential aged care providers.

To ensure you can provide continuity of care for your residents, support can help you to:

  • manage a closure, transition or sale
  • get help with facing financial crisis and insolvency
  • improve your business.
