2 June 2023 - Australian governments run a number of health screening programs that look for early signs of certain diseases. These population-based programs are offered to everyone in defined target groups. Screening helps reduce the risk of Australians developing or dying from these diseases.

8 August 2024 - This program supports patients who face extra costs to preserve their fertility (for future treatment such as IVF) because they have cancer or are at risk of passing on a genetic condition. It provides funding to help with the cost of freezing eggs, sperm or embryos (cryostorage).
