4 June 2025 - Subsidies are for approved providers of home care, residential aged care and flexible care. The Australian Government pays subsidies on behalf of each person receiving government-subsidised aged care. The Government also pays supplements to help with the cost of meeting specific care needs.

19 August 2025 - Residents pay fees based on their means assessment. Services Australia advises the fee type and amount for each resident. Daily, annual and lifetime caps limit the amount a person pays. New types of means tested fees will be introduced on 1 November 2025.
