29 January 2025 - The Life Saving Drugs Program (LSDP) Expert Panel considers all applications to list new medicines on the LSDP. The panel assesses medicines and advises the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) about listing medicines. It also reviews medicines already on the program.

6 June 2025 - Support Plan Reviews help determine whether a client is still having their needs met. If deemed necessary, updated changes or a full reassessment of the support plan may result from this review.

6 June 2025 - We fund this program to provide culturally appropriate aged care to older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The service providers in this program deliver a mix of aged care services, mainly in rural and remote areas.

12 January 2025 - This initiative reduces outstanding Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) debt for eligible doctors and nurse practitioners who live and work in rural, remote or very remote areas of Australia.

7 October 2021 - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people can use the Indigenous Access Program to find out about Medicare and medication entitlements. Other arrangements allow Indigenous health services to access Medicare billing for their patients.
