4 August 2025 - This collection contains the final reports from each clinical committee to the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) Review Taskforce, after public consultation. These reports were provided to the MBS Taskforce for final endorsement or modification.

13 February 2024 - This report outlines the findings of the Integrated Assessment Tool live trial we held between April and July 2023.

12 November 2025 - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, particularly those living in rural and remote areas, are more affected by lung cancer. We worked with the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) to make sure the program is culturally safe.

28 January 2025 - The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) advises the Minister for Health and Aged Care on the National Immunisation Program (NIP) and other immunisation issues.

9 October 2025 - Residents pay fees based on their means assessment. Services Australia advises the fee type and amount for each resident. Daily, annual and lifetime caps limit the amount a person pays. New types of means tested fees will be introduced on 1 November 2025.

25 July 2025 - The National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) is a screening program using low-dose computed tomography (low-dose CT) scans to look for lung cancer in high-risk people without any symptoms. It aims to find lung cancer early and save lives. Screening for eligible people is available now.

12 November 2025 - The Palliative Care Service Navigation Pilot will trial a patient navigator model to strengthen access to palliative and end of life care pathways in South Australia.

1 June 2023 - These trials explored different ways of helping people understand and engage with the aged care system. Lessons from these trials have helped us decide the best way to support people to navigate aged care.

6 June 2025 - The RHMT program offers health students the opportunity to train in rural and remote communities via a network of training facilities. It aims to improve the recruitment and retention of medical, nursing, dental and allied health professionals in rural and remote Australia.
