29 October 2024 - Not everyone benefits from a hearing device. But if you need one, your provider will help you find one that meets your needs and goals. The Hearing Services Program fully subsidises some hearing devices so there is no cost to you, and partially subsidises others, with you paying the gap.

3 September 2024 - An individualised budget sets out the funds available in a care recipient’s Home Care Package and how the provider will use the funds. Find out what you need to include in the budget, how to develop it with your care recipient, and when to review.

5 November 2024 - This program supports flexible ways of providing care where mainstream services cannot meet needs. It currently funds 7 innovative projects that focus on younger people with disabilities. The program stopped funding new projects in 2006.

24 March 2025 - The AGPT Program is a way to become a general practitioner (GP) in Australia. Registrars who complete the program can work unsupervised as a GP anywhere in the country. We fund 1,500 training places every year. Australia’s GP colleges deliver this program for us.

3 September 2024 - As an approved provider, you must give an itemised monthly statement to each of your care recipients to show their available funds, how the funds are being spent and the amount of unspent funds. 27 February 2024 - The Australian Government reduces the subsidy to residential aged care providers in certain cases. Providers won’t receive the total subsidy if the resident pays some types of fees or gets extra services.
