13 June 2025 - Medical doctors and specialists become qualified to diagnose and treat illnesses, disorders and injuries after completing a medical course. They can specialise in different fields. They can access Medicare rebates, which reduces the cost of health care to patients.

27 May 2025 - The Hearing Services Program funds service providers to provide hearing services – including assessments, rehabilitation and devices – to eligible Australians with hearing loss.

30 June 2025 - Under this program, Aboriginal health services (AHSs) in remote areas can order Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) medicines from approved suppliers. The AHSs can then provide these medicines to their patients for free. To get reimbursed, the suppliers submit a payment claim to Services Australia.

6 June 2025 - Doctors pay a levy as part of their indemnity insurance premiums when they are working, to help fund ROCS. Insurers cannot charge a fee for providing ROCS cover when the doctors have stopped working.
