  • MedsCheck and Diabetes MedsCheck

    A MedsCheck enables a patient to go to community pharmacy and discuss their medicines with a pharmacist, who advises on what the medicines do, and how to use and store them, as well as address any problems. A Diabetes MedsCheck focuses on patients with type 2 diabetes and their diabetes medicines.
  • Men's sheds

    Men’s sheds are community-based, non-commercial organisations that are open to all men. Men’s sheds improve the health and wellbeing of their members by giving them a safe place to make friends, share meaningful activities, talk, and access health information and resources.
  • Men's sheds regional coordinators initiative

    Regional coordinators provide support to men’s sheds in each state and territory in Australia to support men’s access to health information and resources to improve their wellbeing.
  • Meningococcal ACWY vaccine for teens

    Meningococcal disease is serious, but you can be protected. Young people aged 14-16 years can get the free meningococcal ACWY vaccine at school in year 10 and other health services including pharmacies.
  • Metal-backed patellae – Prescribed List post-listing review

    We reviewed the comparative clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of metal-backed patellae (MBP) in the Prescribed List (PL). We asked if there is evidence to justify MBP having a higher benefit amount than all-polyethylene patellae (APP).
  • Million Minds Mental Health Research Mission

    The Million Minds Mental Health Research Mission is investing $125 million to support a million Australians with mental health issues. This funding will enable access to new approaches to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

    MindSpot is a free digital mental health clinic, guided by qualified therapists, which provides information about mental health, online assessments and online treatment for adults with anxiety, stress, depression and chronic pain.
