The Other Medical Practitioner Extension Program (OMPEP) provides access to higher Medicare rebates for eligible medical practitioners without specialist registration in General Practice who deliver services in approved locations and who meet strict eligibility requirements. -

palliAGED – palliative care aged care evidence
palliAGED is the palliative care evidence and practice information resource for the Australian aged care sector. It provides support for health and care practitioners as well as resource developers. The website also provides trustworthy information for older Australians, their families and friends. -
Palliative Aged Care Outcomes Program (PACOP)
The Palliative Aged Care Outcomes Program, or PACOP, is dedicated to improving the outcomes of all Australians in aged care homes with a particular focus on those who are approaching the end of their life. -

Palliative Care Australia provides national leadership to contribute to the development of palliative care public policy in Australia and promotes increased awareness of palliative care. -
Palliative care curriculum for undergraduates (PCC4U)
The PCC4U program promotes the inclusion of palliative care education as part of all medical, nursing, and allied health undergraduate and entry to practice training, as well as their ongoing professional development. -
Palliative care in Australian prisons
This project will design a new National Framework for palliative care in Australian prisons, including development of national policies, a clinical service model of care and a toolkit of resources.
