The National Health and Climate Strategy is a whole-of-government plan to address the impacts of climate change on health and wellbeing in Australia, while also addressing the contribution of the health system to climate change.

The National Incident Centre (NIC) coordinates national responses to health emergencies, significant events and emerging threats, where there is an impact on human health or health systems.

Some Australians suffer from the symptoms of a chronic debilitating illness, which many associate with a tick bite. We describe these people as having debilitating symptom complexes attributed to ticks (DSCATT). Find out how we support people with DSCATT.
