Translating and interpreting services for aged care

Translating and interpreting services are available to help people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds engage with aged care. These services are free for older people, their families and carers, and government-funded aged care providers.

About translating and interpreting services

Translating services convert print and digital content into different languages.

Interpreting services involve professional interpreters who convert spoken words from one language to another in real time.

The government funds various services to meet the different needs of older people.
