Thriving Kids Fact sheet: Families

Giving children the best start in life

Thriving Kids is for families and their children aged 8 and under who might need some extra

support to develop, learn and grow.

Support for children and their families

Every child learns and grows in their own way. Some need extra support with their skills

in communicating, learning, moving, interacting with others, or managing emotions.

If your child needs extra support, Thriving Kids is an easy place to start.

It can help your family find information and advice on development delay or autism, and available supports for your child’s development.

Early support, big impact

You don’t need a diagnosis to access Thriving Kids support. Getting support early can make

a big difference, helping children:

  • build on their strengths
  • take part in social and other activities
  • grow the skills they need for everyday life.

Thriving Kids supports
