Support at Home Program and Regulation Update – Webinar

This webinar will discuss the Support at Home Program overview and summary documents recently released. The status of Support at Home regulation development and upcoming consultation opportunities will also be highlighted.

The webinar is for Senior Australians and their families and carers, health or aged care professionals, aged care assessors, peak bodies and Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Home Care Package (HCP),  Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) and residential respite providers.

The new Support at Home Program is due to commence in July 2023. The program will support senior Australians to remain independent and in their own homes for longer. A Support at Home overview papersummary and concepts for a new framework for regulating aged care paper have been published. Department representatives will discuss these papers and consultation activities.
