Hello, darling.

Come in.

How are you?

How lovely to see you.

Corinne volunteers to visit Rita.

After three years, they have become close friends.

You just want to hug and kiss everybody.

I do.

You do.

I often come home and I'll have.

I'll have there to see on your hand.

On my hand or on my cheek.

And my family or my friends will go.

Oh, you've been to see Rita, haven't you?

I go.

Yes, I have.

What was your first impression of me?

Beautiful.

Stunning.

I'll stop it.

OK, Now I mean it.

When I matter.

I was very lonely.

I had no one to talk to, no one to laugh with, no one to kiss when I wanted to give someone a hug and a kiss.

If you didn't come on a cry, well, I would.

I know you might, but that's OK 'cause I'm not going anywhere.

Oh, that's good, you're stuck with me.

That's good, you're stuck with me.

I couldn't think of a nicer person.

Why did you decide to become a volunteer?

Because there's so many people that need people to come and have their talk tonight.

Even living a busy life, I work for a big global company.

This is my time to do something for me, spending time with a friend.

It doesn't take much to have a conversation with someone and I reckon I can give an hour a week, come and sit down and have a cuppa with someone who is going to be a beautiful lifelong friend.

I'll always be.

That's not hard.

That's not even volunteering, that's just spending time with a friend.

Oh, that's a beautiful time, you're my friend.

I look forward to it every week.

So do I Volunteer visits can be as short as an hour and fit around a volunteers busy schedule.

But that short time can make the world of difference in the lives of elderly recipients.
