Voluntary agreement to disclose cigarette ingredients

A number of tobacco companies have voluntarily agreed to provide information about the ingredients in their cigarette products.

This voluntary agreement was signed in December 2000 by:

  • British American Tobacco Australia Limited
  • Imperial Tobacco Australia Limited
  • Philip Morris Limited

These 3 tobacco companies agreed to provide Health with a list of their cigarette ingredients. Attachment A is the template which they need to use to provide this information.
