The report from the Review of MBS Health Assessment Services includes 18 recommendations to improve the delivery and impact of MBS health assessment services in primary care and to support increased uptake of the items within practice.
Three recommendations were implemented on 1 March 2026. The remaining recommendations are yet to be considered by government.
