Quality Use of Pathology Program (QUPP) – Final report for the enhancing patient outcomes

This final report outlines the results of the Macquarie University project to enhance patient outcomes through evaluation of the appropriateness and quality use of pathology in general practice.

This QUPP-funded project aimed to identify, measure and monitor the appropriateness of pathology testing using general practice data. The findings were used to design interventions led by Primary Health Networks to reduce the overuse of pathology services.
