This QUPP-funded project developed 3 new quality assurance programs to assess the technical ability of Australian laboratories to undertake certain tests on:

  • DNA extraction protocols
  • digital polymerase chain reaction technology for DNA biomarker testing in cancer and non-invasive pre-natal testing
  • quality monitoring for leukaemia-associated DNA variations found to be responsive to pharmaceutical intervention therapy.
