Description:

The MRFF Consumer Reference Panel has developed advice on best practice consumer involvement in MRFF-funded health and medical research. This advice includes:

  • principles for consumer involvement
  • implementation guidance
  • a future work program.

These principles aim to encourage and support effective collaboration between:

  • consumers
  • researchers
  • research organisations
  • other health and medical research stakeholders.

Effective consumer involvement is important for building the quality, outcomes, relevance, impact and international competitiveness of MRFF-funded research.

We will work with stakeholders to implement the Principles into MRFF processes over time.
