National Roadmap for Improving the Health of People with Intellectual Disability – Annual progress report 2022

This report describes the work underway to deliver the National Roadmap for Improving the Health of People with Intellectual Disability. The report spans activity undertaken between August 2021 – November 2022.

The National Roadmap for Improving the Health of People with Intellectual Disability (roadmap) aims to address serious health inequities faced by people with intellectual disability. It outlines how we can create a health system where people with intellectual disability are valued, respected and have access to high quality, timely and comprehensive health care.

The roadmap contains a commitment to make information about implementation publicly available. This includes yearly public reporting on the implementation progress.

This first annual progress report documents the work that has been undertaken to implement the roadmap between August 2021 to November 2022.
