The CRIS informs industry on how we manage cost recovery to give Commonwealth funding to the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA). The AOA initiative administers the National Joint Replacement Registry (NJRR) and gives financial and non-financial reports for each financial year.
This report includes performance information and financial forecasts for the 2020-21 to 2022-23 financial years. This funding agreement with the AOA expires on 30 June 2023.
The National Joint Replacement Registry improves and maintains the quality of care for individuals receiving joint replacement surgery.
This statement:
- explains how we manage cost recovery to provide funding to the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) to administer the registry
- reports financial and non-financial performance information
- provides financial forecasts for the current financial year until 2022-23 which is the end of the current funding agreement with the AOA.
