The MRFF aims to transform and enhance Australia’s health and medical research capability through strategic investment. The MRFF will improve the lives of Australians, build the economy, and ensure our health system is safe and of high quality.
The MRFF will in effect double the current funding in health and medical research and is the single largest boost to research funding in Australia’s history.
The 16 MRFF funding principles will guide the allocation of MRFF research funding. All disbursements will occur in accordance with the MRFF Act 2015.
