The Don’t make smokes your story campaign originally launched in May 2016. It is an anti-smoking campaign focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The research reviewed how effective the campaign was among the target audience in 2018. It measured awareness of the campaign and quit tools as well as changes to smoking behaviours and intentions that resulted from the campaign.
The report found that the 2018 campaign was even more successful than both the 2016 and 2017 campaigns.
