This report evaluates the effectiveness of the Don’t make smokes your story campaign in 2017.

The Don’t make smokes your story campaign originally launched in May 2016. It is an anti-smoking campaign focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The research reviewed how effective the campaign was among the target audience in 2017. It measured awareness of the campaign and quit tools as well as changes to smoking behaviours and intentions that resulted from the campaign.

The report found that the 2017 campaign was even more successful than the original 2016 campaign.
